***UPDATE*** Asus Black Friday Laptop Deal for $579 is BACK

Best Buy is now offering the $270 off this weekend! Last weekend it ran and they had canceled it by Monday but here we are again. Hopefully it holds up till Cyber Monday, but who knows at this point. If you were thinking of it then, now may be the time to pull the trigger!

This just in: Best Buy has the ASUS FX505GT on sale for $270 off for Black Friday. The best part? You don’t have to wait till Black Friday to get this deal

That’s right. Best Buy is having their Black Friday deals available just under 3 weeks early and you can take advantage of those deals now without having to wait for the crowds.

$270 OFF ASUS Gaming Laptop
From now till Black Friday (or while supplies last) Best Buy is having one of their best budget laptops on sale. $270 off an already incredible laptop.

Processor: Intel Core i5-9300H
Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650
Hard Drive: 512GB PCIe SSD
Screen: 15.6″ 1920×1080 IPS-Like Display

What do you get for $579.99?

With a price like that, you would’t really expect to be getting much, but you’re getting quite a laptop full. The 9th Gen Intel i5-9300H is a decent processor at 2.4GHz with boost up to 4.1GHz when your computer really needs it. This saves you power so the CPU isn’t running needlessly and eating away at your battery.

The most Impressive part about the whole setup has to be the GPU. Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1650 in a laptop at $579.99 is a steal. It’ll run most any game you through at it, but don’t expect to be running those games on ultra. It’ll get you through and that’s more than enough for a budget laptop.

When it comes to RAM, it isn’t anything to write home about with 8GB, but you can easily upgrade it to 16GB or even 32GB (max) and not really break the bank.

What don’t you get?

The  Asus laptop models FX505GT boast an IPS-level display which is a bit confusing and brings uncertainty to it actually being an IPS display. Most likely it’s a TN display because they’re on the cheaper side but if that’s not a deal breaker for you.

It’s also a good point to mention that from a design perspective, the keyboard probably isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. First off, the WASD are the only white keys on the keyboard. We understand it’s a gaming laptop, but there isn’t always a need to point that out. Second, the arrow keys are a little peculiar. That is, they stick out from the bottom of the keyboard and are below the spacebar. Granted you probably won’t be using them often, but it’s a strange look to see everything nicely lined up and suddenly these 3 arrow keys are just. There.

For the price you can’t beat it. You’re getting a lot out of an already low priced gaming laptop, and at a $270 discount it’s even better. So far we’ve only seen the discount at best buy although Amazon has a listing with really nothing in it.

If the few visual elements don’t bother you all that much, we recommend diving in and grabbing this pre-Black Friday, Black Friday discount. Not only will you beat the lines, but you’ll have it before Thanksgiving weekend to enjoy and game until your heart’s content.
