Honestly, this laptop is a steal. Especially with the $270 currently going on for Black Friday 2019 (Limited Time). It’s not even Black Friday yet. It’s not a top of the line laptop, but it’s definitely a great budget gaming laptop from Asus.
The 9th gen Intel i5-9300H idles at 2.4GHz, but if you need some intense computing power it can boost up to 4.1GHz whenever you need it. For such a low price, you’re getting a great GPU. Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1650 is a pretty powerful GPU that can handle most modern games no problem with it’s 4GB GDDR4.
It only has 8GB of RAM, but that just leaves room for an upgrade in the future (If you’re comfortable with taking apart your laptop. Not all the difficult for most actually.
Not Bad for an ASUS Budget Gaming Laptop
For the price, portability, and specs, you’re getting a really great gaming laptop at a great price. However, there are a few drawbacks. Yes, we get it. It’s a gaming laptop. But we don’t really need that being a permanent feature. A better alternative is a gaming back-lit keyboard while playing games that you can customize, but this is a sub $1000 computer. NOBODY is complaining here.
You’re looking at a great laptop at a great price and a steep discount. If you’re in the market for a gaming computer on a budget, now is the time to take advantage of this great deal before it’s gone.
The overall features are great, and the ability to upgrade the RAM up to 32GB is an easy win. You could get a great price for 2 8GB of RAM for 16GB total, or 2 16GB maxing it out at 32GB total RAM. Without really breaking the bank.
